AWARDS CAMPAIGNS

oscars and golden globes

how we do it:

  • Create and execute a personal, innovative awards strategy for foreign language film contenders

  • Organize screenings and special events for voting members

  • Propose and negotiate digital and print advertisements

  • Consult on promotional artwork (press kits, ads, screeners, one-sheets)

  • Draft press releases and compile media monitoring reports

  • Pitch editorial coverage to the top film industry outlets

  • Generate awards “buzz” about films among voters, industry, and press

  • Social media marketing

MEDIAPLAN PR's strategy is built on a personal and longstanding relationship with the voting members; they know we only represent the best films and our awards screenings are very well attended as a result. We depend on our close network of influential film critics and journalists to cultivate and spread awareness about our films. We also connect our international filmmakers with leading Los Angeles talent agencies (CAA, UTA, WME, ICM, Paradigm, Management 360, Anonymous Content) so that they can pursue further opportunities in Hollywood.

MEDIAPLAN PR has represented Oscar and Golden Globe nominated films, including notable foreign language titles such as “My Life As A Zucchini” (2017), “Embrace of the Serpent” (2016), “Tangerines” (2015), “The Broken Circle Breakdown” (2014), “Kon-Tiki” (2013), “Bullhead” (2012). In total, our resume includes eleven Oscar nominations and seven Golden Globe nominations.
