Founder and executive strategist Tatiana detlofson

With over two decades of experience, Tatiana Detlofson is a veteran of the global entertainment industry known for her expertise in international films and festival promotion.

Tatiana is a voting member of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the European Film Academy and the Czech Film Academy. 

Born of Korean-Czech heritage and raised in the Czech Republic, Tatiana graduated from the Prague University of Economics. She lived in Sweden and the United Kingdom before moving her company MEDIAPLAN PR to Los Angeles in 2005.

MEDIAPLAN's expertise is developing and managing International Film, Documentary, Animation and Shorts Academy Award and Golden Globe campaigns. Outside of awards season, MEDIAPLAN PR represents films in competition at leading international film festivals (Cannes, Venice, Berlin, Karlovy Vary, Locarno, Sundance, Toronto, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara.)


MEDIAPLAN conducts theatrical distribution campaigns for foreign and independent films in USA. Tatiana regularly participates in Competition and Works In Progress Film Festival Juries and has conducted Oscar campaign workshops at many festivals in Europe and USA. She lectures about film marketing and publicity at prestigious American Film Institut, Santa Monica College and Prague film school FAMU.

Tatiana’s experience living and working in diverse cultures has been paramount in her success with promoting international cinema worldwide. She fluently speaks five languages: English, Czech, Swedish, German, and Russian. Tatiana currently resides in Venice Beach, California with her partner Scott and daughter Natalia.
